1. Pre-Event Planning

After you inquire, I will send you a custom quote, then agreement form and invoice if you're ready to move forward. After you book, I will reconfirm the timeline (for weddings, painting will start at the beginning of cocktail hour into the reception to allow enough time) and setup details again closer to the event. I can coordinate directly with your planner/coordinator, if you have one, to ensure a seamless integration into your event flow.

2. On-Site Setup

I arrive about an hour early to check in and set up my styled painting station. I will need one table and a few chairs in a shaded/covered area provided for me. I can provide a table cloth, if needed. I bring all materials for myself and my additional artists. For weddings, I am able to transition from a cocktail hour table to a reception table, or I can remain in one place throughout the evening.

3. Live Painting During the Event

Guests will stop by the table to have their photo taken by us (limit two people per painting, unless they have a child with them, and guests can only be painted once to ensure that everyone gets a chance to be painted). Then, they can continue to enjoy the event while each painting is created in watercolor & ink in a minimalist style (no face). As portraits are completed, they will be displayed for pickup in  cellophane sleeves sealed with custom stickers. Each person can take about 5minutes or up to 10 minutes per pair, per painter, depending on outfit detailing.

For weddings, the couple will also receive a 4"x6" painting of them!​

4. Guests Take Home Their Artwork

Guests check back before they leave to claim their hand-painted keepsake from your celebration. As many portraits as possible will be completed by the end of the time contracted for. Any portraits that aren't able to be completed will be completed at my home and mailed to the client to distribute. Requests for portraits beyond the remaining guests originally accounted for will be subject to a discounted fee.
